Charles R. Higgs, Worshipful Master 2008-2009

Welcome from the Worshipful Master

Greetings from the members of Acacia Lodge No. 4, A.F.&A.M in Grand Forks, North Dakota. As the current Worshipful Master of our Lodge, I want to welcome you to our web site and thank you for visiting.

As Masons, we are both a social group and a civic-minded group. We enjoy each other's company in our lodge building and elsewhere, and we do things to benefit society in general as well as things that make our fraternity stronger.

Our objective, as a lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, is to admit good men to our membership and to strive to "make these good men better". As an ancient organization whose customs have been passed down for many generations, we do have a number of traditions which are a part of our heritage. If you join, you will be able to help pass them along to the next generation of Masons.

You should know that you are qualified for membership in a lodge of Masons if you are male, over the age of 18 and of good character. If you are interested in getting more information about Masonry, please contact any one of our members and let him know. An easy way to do this is to send an e-mail message to our Secretary by clicking here.
